Organ Donation

Organ donation, in simple words, is the process of removing a person's organs with the consent of the donor or, after a person's death, with the consent of the next of kin. Organs can only be transplanted into another person if they are in good health.

There are two types of organ transplantation: Autografts and Allografts. Autografts are transplants of organs or tissues into the same person's body, while Allografts are transplants of organs and tissues into different beings of the same species. Another, less common type is Xenograft, which involves transplanting organs or tissues from one strain into another.
